Happy First Day of Autumn!

Today is the first day of Autumn!  Fall is my favorite season!  I love the change in the weather, the color of the leaves, the pumpkins, the crunch of the leaves, sweaters and boots!  I also enjoy how it naturally helps me turn my house into a home with the fall decor, pots of soup, and pies.

My frugal tip for the first day of fall is to PRE SHOP!

Don’t buy any fall decor now.

Go out, snap some pictures, make a list, pull out pictures from your favorite catalogues and wait!

I just pulled out my fall decor from my storage bins that I scored last year for 75%-90% off the original price!  I packed it away and opened it this year to find so many great surprises!

You will most likely be able to buy everything on your pre shop list once everything goes on clearance compared to only a few items at full price!
